Eric is SPIRIT's I.T. Manager, overseeing the day-to-day tasks of managing the website, the email infrastructure, the broadcast media publication, and internet-related equipment. Eric also serves as our Assistant Tech. Manager, assisting the Tech. Manager with his duties.

Eric Knight is a seasoned paranormal investigator with a decade of field experience, bringing it to SPIRIT Indiana. Based in the Indy area, Eric joined the team in 2025 as the IT Manager, leveraging his professional background to support the organization's technological needs. In his work life, he thrives as a software architect with over 20 years of development experience and executive leadership training. This role fuels his organizational skills but remains distinct from his passion for the paranormal.

Eric's investigative approach is grounded in science, utilizing advanced tools to explore unexplained phenomena with precision. Specializing in evidence-based research, he actively develops innovative equipment to enhance SPIRIT Indiana's 30+ year legacy of credible paranormal studies across Indiana. His work contributes to private investigations and educational efforts like Paranormal U, where he applies a rigorous methodology to document findings.

A lifelong Hoosier, Eric's interest in the paranormal was sparked by a curiosity for the unknown, shaped by his home state's rich history. As a "science explanation first" investigator, he relies on Occam's razor to analyze evidence, blending skepticism with an open mind. Thrilled to collaborate with SPIRIT Indiana, he's eager to advance evidence-driven research in his community.
